Artist Services - fully integrated music business by design.
Our music services division was specifically designed to meet the needs of artists and labels in today's busy marketplace.  By developing a one-stop-shop you can engage us for a number of specific services when most needed.  From traditional retail to digital downloads we can distribute your music worldwide.  We can promote your new release to commercial, campus and CBC radio or perhaps just college radio.   You can hire us to provide publicity for your new release and/or tour or we can help you create a sell-sheet all the way to a full press-kit.  If you want your music in film and television we help you do that too.  Or if you're eager and looking to roll up your sleeves, dive-in and make it happen yourself - we also offer artist development and management consulting services.

Recorded Music Division
Maximum Music, Maximum Jazz and Maximum Distribution represent our recorded music division.  Having released over 100 titles of varying styles of music from pop/rock, to folk/roots and contemporary/traditional jazz; Maximum Music has been responsible for launching the careers of some of the finest singer-songwriters in the world today including Angela Harris and Rich Hope.  Maximum Jazz the original home for jazz super-group Metalwood played an instrumental role in the resurgence of Randy Bachman's career with the release of his debut jazz recording JazzThing.  Maximum Distribution has been actively involved the development of some of the finest independent record labels around today including jazz/creative music label Drip Audio, the award winning folk/roots imprint of Black Hen Music, jazz outfit Cellar Live and the indie roots/rock label Northern Electric.

Maximum Metal

Maximum Management
Maximum Management is a full service artist management division specializing in personal, business and career management.  Our roster has included major label recording artists and award winners the likes of Zubot & Dawson, Jim Byrnes, Metalwood and Denzal Sinclaire.

Distribution
There are basically two types of distribution that we offer:
1) Traditional Distribution, where in conjunction with our marketing partner EMI Music we solicit and distribute finished product to retail stores, sub-distributors and select on-line partners across Canada.
2) Digital Distribution, we solicit your music to over 100 digital retailers around the world.  Our network of service partners include all the major on-line stores such as iTunes, eMusic, Napster and Rhapsody as well as dozens of newly emerging outlets coming on-line daily.

Manufacturing
We are able to offer competitive CD manufacturing services for artists, labels and other private organizations; be it a small or large pressing, a simple jewel case to the more complex die-cut digipack we can help with the graphic design, provide you with a barcode and if you're serious about digital distribution we can also help you with the application and assignment of ISRC codes.

Small or large runs we will supply you with the necessary templates, design specifications and professional expertise to help you create a product that looks as good as it sounds!

We can also provide quotes on other promotional items such as posters, postcards, stickers all the way to custom compilations

MMG provides artist and business development consulting services to artists, managers, labels and other music industry professionals.  From grass roots to major label our consulting services encompass brand development, promotional, marketing and publicity plans, press-kit development, agreement and contract review, sell sheet and one sheet design, e-marketing, label, agency and publisher solicitation, touring and performer services as well as the general "just getting started" info on the business we call music.

Brian Watson is an industry veteran with over 15 years hands-on experience running his own award winning management firm and record company.  Brian has also worked as the western Canadian marketing manager for Richard Branson and his Virgin Record label as well as a licensed booking agent for S.L. Feldman & Associates representing such superstar acts as Bryan Adams, Sarah McLachlan and Grapes of Wrath to name a few.
